Humanity is a new token associated with digital identity. It can be used by companies to verify a user’s information without having to store any personal data. Read on to learn more about Humanity and whether or not you should consider investing in it.

What is Humanity Crypto?
Humanity cryptocurrency is a token that focuses on digital identity. Created for the purpose of making identity verification easy for websites, it uses a variety of technologies to check a user’s identity without relying on the company doing the checking for data storage. It also allows individuals to retain full control of their identity while still allowing them to pass KYC checks.
Focusing on combining security and privacy, Humanity is a new project in the cryptocurrency/Web3 space.
How Does Humanity Work?
Humanity uses the blockchain to allow users easy access to their identity without needing to grant control to every company that needs to verify who they are. Humanity does this using a native consensus mechanism they’ve coined Proof-of-Humanity, or POH, which the company behind Humanity is currently transitioning into a well-known Proof-of-Trust consensus mechanism. This consensus mechanism is built on decentralized identifiers and zero-knowledge proofs. This means the user ultimately controls the data, and companies can verify with Humanity while allowing the individual owning the data to keep information private.
Users start by registering for the platform and creating a unique ID. Then, this unique ID can be connected to a range of websites you already share data with. There is a verification process with Humanity, but once that is completed, users can prove who they are all over the interwebs using Humanity.
The cool thing is, Humanity doesn’t store your data. This means, once you are verified, your data is deleted, protecting you from hacks not only of Humanity, but also on the sites which previously may have had access to your raw identification data. This will lower your chances of suffering identity theft, bot attacks, and more.
Not only that, but Humanity prevents sybil attacks, ensuring that once you make an account, that is the only account you will be able to make with your identity. There are no duplicate Humanity accounts. Humanity has several options for verifying your identity but mostly relies on a palm scan for verification.
What is H?
H is the symbol used to identify Humanity on trading platforms. It is unclear whether H is a governance token or not, but what we can tell you is that it is used to pay for transactions on the network and that users will receive rewards in H. It also appears that users can stake H for an option to earn a passive income with the platform.
As of the writing of this article, there are a total of 10 billion H tokens available.

Who Created Humanity?
Unfortunately, we were unable to discover who created the Humanity token, as the page on the official website that is supposed to show their team is broken. We do not know if this is a temporary thing, or if the page never existed in the first place.
From what we can tell, Humanity launched in June 2025, though the idea may have been conceived earlier.
Should You Buy Humanity Token?
All in all, the ideas behind Humanity token are good ones—creating a form of digital identity to keep people safer as the world becomes increasingly digitized is always a good idea. That being said, we have a number of concerns about the project as well.
It is never a good sign when you are unable to find names connected to the project. With the large number of scams in the crypto space, this alone is enough to make us hesitant to invest. Humanity states they undergo regular audits, but how can you know who these audits are performed by and request them when the individuals behind the project are not available for contact?
Another issue we found during our research is that the token allocation skews toward the unnamed creators. While almost all blockchain creators set aside tokens for themselves, in this case the allocation for the creators is 19%, which is quite large all things considered. Of course, if there is a massive team and several venture capitalists, this may be a fair allocation, but we cannot say for certain since we are unaware of the team behind the project.
Of course, we are not against decentralized identity, and the setup proposed by Humanity does appear to be one that would work; we just aren’t sure we trust them enough to provide them with the information needed for verification. While this may change in the future, especially as they grow bigger, we cannot, in good conscience, invest in this project now.
**If you are a business looking into using Humanity for customer verification, it is worth pursuing; just be aware it may not streamline customers in the way you hope!
Where Can You Buy Humanity Token?
Humanity token is already available on most major blockchain platforms, and we recommend checking whichever one you already have an established account on first. If your preferred platform doesn’t offer Humanity for purchase, the platforms below do.
· Binance
· KuCoin
· Coinbase

Please note that this is not a complete list, and you may find the token on other platforms not mentioned here.
Overall, we look forward to a day when there is a platform we trust to manage our digital identity, as it is a necessity of Web3. However, we aren’t certain that Humanity Token is the answer. As always, whether or not you invest is up to you, but we urge you to do your research and read their whitepaper before putting any of your hard-earned money on the line.
